A security update is due today. New vulnerabilities related to the Spectre hardware vulnerability have been discovered.

The first was named Retbleed. Researchers have demonstrated a new attack possibility that cannot be prevented on affected processors by the existing patches. The second is called AEPIC Leak and concerns current Intel processors.

In addition, a few improvements have been made.
